Colombia. The broadcast industry is a creative industry par excellence, which requires innovative professionals, who have the vision of going one step further, with the necessary knowledge to be able to apply technological developments to creative processes.
That creativity and innovation must start from each person, but it must also be fostered and strengthened by the process of university education. And aware that creative and innovative work is being done in the academy, and the importance of recognizing and highlighting these works to motivate future professionals, TVyVideo+Radio presents the TecnoTelevisión University Contest in its 2018 version.
The sixth version of the Contest seeks to recognize the work carried out in universities by future professionals in the industry, in order to encourage interest in their practical training through a video in which they narrate a story of free theme.
That is why TecnoTelevisión&Radio seeks from the Contest university filmmakers who show and bear witness with their achievements, stories on a topic of their interest, that they are passionate about, and so they can capture in their videos the best narrative and technical qualities, which account for their skills and knowledge during their training process.
Contest Parameters
- The call is for the Colombian territory.
- The proposal that is presented must not be older than one year with respect to the moment in which the Contest is proposed and must not have been awarded in another contest.
- Each participant or group may compete with only one audiovisual product.
- The finalist works may be broadcast by open television or other means, with the due authorization of the filmmakers for non-profit dissemination purposes.
To apply for the Contest, the audiovisual piece must be uploaded to Youtube. Then, the registration form must be completed on the website www.tecnotelevision.com providing all the required information, including the link of the postulated video.
The deadline for the application of audiovisual pieces ends on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
