Colombia. Until Friday, May 25, the call of the National Council of Arts and Culture in Cinematography and the National Television Authority for transmedia short film makers will be open.
This is the answer to the approach of both entities for some of their 2018 calls to promote the creation of transmedia content of fiction, documentary and animation. To this initiative is added the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá to strengthen and accompany the participation of the members of the industry.
Within the framework of this initiative, the following calls are open:
● CALL NEWMEDIA Colombia: Supports the development of audiovisual content designed for new digital platforms including, but not limited to web series, virtual reality, augmented reality and mobile applications and is developed under agreement No. 743 of 2018 signed between FONTIC and Proimágenes Colombia. NEWMEDIA Colombia has resources of COP $200,000,000 and will provide incentives of up to COP, $66,000,000. The beneficiaries of this call sign a contract with Proimágenes Colombia.
● ANTV Call: Supports the development and production of audiovisual content for television, through the development of television miniseries of at least 4 chapters of half an hour in length (that is, 24 minutes of television content each), and the production of the first episode ready for broadcast. With resources up to COP $ 320,000,000 and incentives up to COP $ 106,660,000. The beneficiaries of this call sign a contract with the ANTV.
● Call of the FDC in the form of production of transmedia short films: Supports the production of short films to exhibit in cinemas and online platforms. It is in charge of the National Council of Arts and Culture in Cinematography, in accordance with the provisions of Law 814 of 2003, and has up to COP $ 200,000,000, with incentives of minimum COP $ 66,000,000. The beneficiaries of this call sign a contract with Proimágenes Colombia.
