Latin America. Amino, a company that develops solutions for IPTV, aims to market Latin America. With solutions such as Android TV-focused, the company offers specialized applications in these areas, explained Jamie MacKinlay, Amino's global VP of Marketing.
"We have a long history in Latin America, for more than 15 years we have had clients in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia and basically we have worked closely with good results solutions for IPTV systems, and we work very closely with our partners to implement projects," he said.
And he said: "We will continue to work in this way with these partners, because the evolution of our services include Android TV, as it is a natural evolution and the cost model, the ability to deploy specialized applications will be specific content for Latin America and is an appropriate platform for operators who want to investigate."
MacKinlay commented, "Whether it's Tier 1 or 4 carriers, it doesn't matter, there's significant value in reviewing Android TV because of the cost/benefit. I believe that companies like ours can provide effective solutions at a low cost and in turn can have the right components for their platform, to make the implementation less risky, at a good price and thus offer them a new service."
"The business plan is simple: we are implementing IP solutions and we are making the market known. We have customers who have deployed Android TV in Europe; we are working with our first customers in the United States and the next step is to jump to Latin America and teach operators how these contents work," said the executive.
