Central America. During the month of March, IntekTV is preparing for a Pre-NAB 2018 tour of Central America, which seeks to strengthen ties with its distribution channels and promote the brands of its linecard.
With a base of operations in Miami and two subsidiary companies in Latin America (Argentina and Uruguay), IntekTV has managed to establish itself as a distributor of professional broadcast, audio and video equipment for the region and now sets its eyes on the center of the continent. Sony, Ikan, Canare, Wellav and 3Way Solutions are some of the brands that will accompany them in their portfolio for this trip.
According to the preliminary balance of economic growth 2017 issued by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), "the countries that had the best economic growth in 2017 were Panama with 5.5%, the Dominican Republic with 4.9% and Nicaragua with 4.9%. Within Latin America, the countries with the best rates were Central American in 2017."
Mabel Mompó, Vice President of Sales for IntekTV, assures that Costa Rica, Panama and Honduras, in addition to qualifying for the 2018 World Cup Russia, are countries that have attracted the attention of the company for their growing interest in technologies and products that allow them to stay at the forefront of the market.
"We have worked hand in hand with distributors and partners in each country and we are witnessing growth, as is the case with El Salvador and Guatemala," adds Mompó. In addition, this tour is the perfect prelude in the preparation for the NAB Show 2018 next month, an event that unites us all in the industry and which we will attend with great expectations," concludes Mabel.
