The broadcast industry is characterized by having a rapid advance in technology that allows you to see images and audio with increasing quality. But this technology alone would not work if the creativity of industry professionals is not behind it.
With pleasure we have seen in TVyVideo+Radio how during the last four years the quality of the audiovisual production of students of careers related to the television industry, in Colombia specifically, has increased. This is a perception that results at the end of the call for the fifth version of the TecnoTelevisión University Contest.
In 2017, the Competition received 58 submitted works, an important growth compared to previous editions. One factor to highlight is the cities where the jobs come from. Not only did they come from the main cities where there are universities with very well endowed production centers, they also applied from intermediate cities where more and more audiovisual production begins to be made. In total, 22 different cities.
And this has been one of the main characteristics of the Contest, since it has allowed to know the production that is being done from different regions of Colombia. The winners of the previous versions have been from cities such as Medellín, Bucaramanga, San Gil and Manizales.
We hope from TVyVideo+Radio and TecnoTelevisión&Radio that the objective of the Contest to encourage interest in the practical training of future professionals in the industry with the best narrative and technical qualities, is motivating their future professional development.
The winner of the fifth version of the Contest was Entropía, which was awarded on November 15 within the framework of TecnoTelevisión&Radio.
