Latin America. Blackmagic Design announced that a large number of its products were used in the production and post-production of more than 40 web and television series of the 2017 autumn season. Among them, there are film cameras, Fusion, DaVinci Resolve Studio, mixers, monitors and other capture and playback devices.
Cinematographers such as Christian Sebaldt, ASC and Byron Shah have relied on the image quality and compact design offered by the URSA Mini Pro and Micro Studio Camera models to capture exceptional angles, as well as action scenes and stunts.
On the other hand, several Hollywood studios specializing in visual effects, such as Muse VFX, have used Fusion Studio as a tool to add effects and carry out compositions in their projects, while a large number of post-producers trusted DaVinci Resolve Studio. For example, approximately 85% of the more than 140 series processed at Encore (Deluxe), Level 3, Company 3 and EFilm facilities used this software to heat or shape their material.
The Loft Post, a division of Los Angeles-based production company Mango, was responsible for the online editing and color grading of several new and recurring series through DaVinci Resolve Studio. "The Loft Post was essential at Mango to be able to deliver all the material of one," said Stan Cassio, the company's president and co-owner. "By working together, colorist Joe Cook and editor Dave McLaughlin had the ability to finish projects seamlessly in real time thanks to DaVinci Resolve Studio."
