Colombia. The National Television Authority, ANTV, selected the audiovisual proposals that will receive incentives for $700 million from the Fund for the Development of Television and Content.
This year, for the first time, the entity made a second call to promote the industry to finance fiction series of free theme and unitary documentaries that highlight historical, cultural, religious or linguistic aspects.
The selection of the projects was in charge of a committee composed of three external juries, who reviewed each project received and evaluated, among other aspects, the relationship between the content of the project and the relationship with the categories proposed in the call, the production plan and the budget.
These were the selected proposals:
Category 1: Fiction series aimed at companies producing audiovisual content, minimum of four (4) chapters of free theme:
Winner
• Wild Movies Factoria Audiovisual EU: The good executioner.
Category 2: Unitary documentary of at least 24 minutes in HD whose content is aimed at exalting the pillars that support the existence of ethnic groups in any of their contexts (historical, cultural, religious or linguistic, among other aspects).
Winners:
• Awá indigenous reservation of Tortugaña: Ñambí and Telembi live.
• Afro-Colombian Cultural Foundation: Tambor y Caña (Fucataryca) Aires de mis ancestros.
• Indigenous Unit of the Awá People: Melkin Attim Kanta Kasa Ikipupas (Walking with our ancestral music).
• Quillasinga Indigenous Reservation, Solkamashik Refuge: The Way of the Cane.
• Yanakona indigenous reservation of Caquiona: Soul and sound one will be.
• Organization of the Raizal Community with Residence Outside the Archipelago of San Andrés Providencia and Santa Catalina Islands (ORFA): Drums.
• Raizal Youth Organization (R-Youth): Fruits from the Raizal Land.
