Brazil. One of the approaches of the JVC company for the broadcast industry in Latin America are the PTZ cameras, which have had good receptivity thanks to the IP features that the camera has apart from the normal features.
Pedro Mees, sales director for Latin America at JVC, told TVyVideo+Radio that another of the new technologies available in the region is the Bridge, which allows a car to be converted into a mobile unit through 3G/4G networks and JVC camera technology.
The novelty of this system, presented during NAB 2017, is that it now has a new, smaller version, which can be adapted on a motorcycle and thus be able to convert it into a mobile unit to facilitate the work of the canals in cities where vehicular traffic is high. The system has a signal range of up to 80 meters around the transmitter.
On the Brazilian market, Pedro Mees said that despite the problems it has had in recent times, it is an important market and from JVC they are betting on its recovery. They have even begun to feel a change, with projects emerging and sales increasing.
