Peru. The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) began the call for the first public tender corresponding to the year 2017, in order to deliver up to 45 new authorizations of the sound broadcasting service in Modulated Frequency (FM), with community, educational and commercial purposes, in 17 localities nationwide.
The entity stressed that for this call it applies the criteria for selecting localities based on social inclusion and the need to promote the development of broadcasting services throughout the country.
In particular, priority has been given to those localities located in border areas, places of preferential social interest and those classified as rural areas. Decentralization and the expression of public interest in the conduct of the contest were also considered.
In this sense, through Directorial Resolution No. 1109-2017-MTC/28, the General Directorate of Authorizations in Telecommunications approved the Bases of the Public Tender No. 01-2017-MTC/28, which can be consulted by clicking here.
The sale of the bases began on May 30 at the headquarters of the MTC in Lima and in the Agencies of the Banco de la Nación at the national level, where Transaction No. 9650 must be processed with Code No. 1017.
