International. As part of the celebration of International Radio Day, commemorated on February 13, Radio China International received, from the Academy of Radio of Spain, the AEQ award for its 60 interrupted years of broadcasts in Spanish.
The recognition was received by the director of studies Sofia Yin, of Radio China International, of maños of Fatima Pilar Miguez, director of communication, within the gala of organized in Shanghai.
China International Radio (RIC in English, CIR in English), formerly Radio Beijing, is one of the two radio stations belonging to China. China International Radio was founded on December 3, 1941. It is a station that mixes news, music in the different languages that are official in China, plus all kinds of cultural programs related to China.
The relationship between AEQ and Chinese public broadcasters has spanned the past 20 years, and recently even the AEQ VENUS audiocoding units were tasked with facilitating connections with Canada during the celebration of the last World Short Course Swimming Championships in the city of Windsor.
