Latin America. Imagine Communications announced a reorganization of its management team in several important segments, including the arrival of Emilo Gañán, who will lead the company's Caribbean and Latin American sales, CALA.
With more than 30 years of sales and executive management experience in the CALA region, Gañán brings a wealth of technology and customer relationship knowledge to Imagine Communications. During his distinguished career, Gañán has held leadership positions at Grass Valley, Textronix, Thomson Broadcast and Quantel.
Other important appointments from Imagine Communications are:
- Ajay Kapoor will lead Global Services. He joined Imagine Communications in 2014 and will oversee a team of more than 200 support engineers and analysts in 30 countries.
- Sarah Foss, promoted to the position of Chief Product Officer (CPO) for the company's portfolio of advertising management solutions (AMS), newly created position
- Chris Sjerven is the new vice president of operations.
In addition to expanding its leadership ranks, the company has launched Imagine Communications Labs, an advanced service offering designed to help customers and partners quickly and efficiently test proofs of concepts (POCs) and validate complex workflow integrations, including interoperability.
In addition to providing media companies with hands-on experience working in IP and across all types of cloud environments (public, private, and hybrid), Imagine Communications Labs will reduce the time needed to validate, integrate, and deploy next-generation technology solutions.
Imagine Communications Labs will be led by Peter Riordan, an industry veteran who recently joined the company.
