Caper. TRedess and Gsertel are two Spanish companies of the Televes group, the first dedicated to the manufacture of network monitoring equipment, and the second to multistandard television transmitters. To support their growth in the region, they have reached an agreement with the Brazilian Tecsis for the manufacture of their products in this country.
Javier Martínez, from tredess' sales department for Spain and Latam, spoke with TVyVideo+Radio, who assured the agreement with Tecsis has two objectives: the first to attack the Brazilian market in the face of the analog blackout and secondly, through its commercial team, to reach the other countries in the region.
"We arrived in the Latin American market after starting an internationalization phase, which also took us to Europe, Asia and North Africa, places where we have our largest commercial references and have supplied more than 3,000 multichannel centers of up to 150 watts," he said.
With their arrival in Latin America, both companies seek to take advantage of the analog blackout that will be experienced in the region until 2022 and in particular they are attracted to the Brazilian market.
