Caper. The Shure company continues to promote its digital microphone systems for broadcast throughout Latin America. During Caper 2016, the protagonist was the digital ULXD system.
Javier Ocampo, director of ProAudio for Latin America at Shure, told TVyVideo+Radio that this system has something very special, the high dencity system, which helps solve the problem of RF congestion that is experienced around the world.
"The high-density mode allows much better use of the electromagnetic spectrum, lowering the system's pontence by one milliwatt, allowing up to 45 systems to work on a television channel at a time in 6 megahertz," he said.
Shure also took advantage of Caper to launch the new KSM8 capsule, a dynamic capsule with double diaphragm. Its main feature is that the double diaphragm operates as a filter that eliminates the proximity effect.
2016 has been a very important year for Shure. The company has had internal changes to better serve the market in its different segments: Pro, installation and retail. As part of these changes, Javier Ocampo joined Shure to take care of the Pro line in the region.
