Argentina. The International Exhibition of Equipment and Services for the Professional Audiovisual Industry Caper 2016, will be held from Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 October in Centro Costa Salguero.
In parallel to the equipment exhibition, CAPER 2016 presents an interesting Technical – Academic Program with 36 presentations. Among them we mention the Master Classes, Conferences and Live Demonstrations of audio and sound.
Wednesday, October 26
At 5.30 p.m. the MASTER CLASS "Festival Simulation: PA+Monitoreo+Broadcast LIVE" will be held in Auditorium 1 (Hall 4) in which, Néstor Stazzoni, Pablo Peyrano, Fernando Argento and Cana San Martín of AES – AUDIO ENGINEERING SOCIETY ARGENTINA will present simultaneous PA operation, Monitoring and Broadcast explained in detail from the connection and the technique used, to the considerations of each of the professionals in their role so that the show is a true show on and off stage.
From 18 hs. in Auditorium 4 (Hall 5) will give lunch the Conference "The future of online radios in the context of Digital Convergence. Diagnosis and challenges for the next stage" by Yésica Bernardou of CADERO – Argentine Chamber of Online Radios.
Thursday, October 27
The Conference "Media and Locution Today" will be held at 2 p.m. in Auditorium 3 of Hall 5. Mario Portugal, Journalist, National Broadcaster and Teacher. Columnist and Host at Radio del Plata, FM Milenium. Author of the book "Locución Hoy"; Héctor Yudchak, Journalist, Writer and Radio Producer. Author of "El diario y la Radio van a la Escuela" and "Locución Hoy"; Hugo Luis, CEO Locucionar.com agency of national and international announcers, producer of content for Radio stations and, Dario Durán, National Announcer, conduction, mobile and animation of Radio and TV. CEO deRadios.com will present on the current radiophony and the challenges of the professional workers of Radio, Labor and technological scenario of the Locution, Training and labor field, among other topics.
Mario Di Cola of AES - Audio Engineering Society, will be in charge of leading the Conference "Linear Motor for Subwoofer Design" in which, it will be expanded on how the domain of digital amplification and the improvements of magnetic materials, open a new door in the field of alternative methods of acoustic transduction. The Linear Motor, a new electrodynamic device that considerably improves the efficiency of electrical to acoustic conversion, sound quality, robustness and power capacity. This activity will take place from 5 p.m. in Auditorium 1 of Hall 4. Then, at 6 p.m., Indio Gauvron, also from AES, will present the Conference "System of Monitors in Study" reviewing guidelines, concepts, phenomena, developments, scopes and differences of current systems.
Another of the activities confirmed at CAPER 2016, are the Outdoor Sound Demonstrations. These sessions will be held on the parking lot of Pavilion 5 in their corresponding hanging structures. On this occasion, the companies Equaphon Sistemas de Sonido, Stanich Audio and Prind-Co will carry out the demonstrations.
In relation to the sound presentation, the company Meyer Sound Labs – Jons Silbertein will hold two "Leopard & 900-LFC System Demonstration" where the particularities of the system will be presented, on Friday, October 28 at 11 am. and at 3 p.m.
