Mexico. Given the digitalization processes that pay-TV operators and broadcasters in Latin America are undertaking and consolidating, Bridge Technologies' solutions are having an adequate reception, said Emerson Pérez, regional manager for Latin America of the company.
"The market response has been very good. We have worked with government entities, Pay-TV and broadcasters. There is a lot of interest in signal monitoring, as everyone is in the process of migrating to digital and this is a suitable transmitter solution in an economical and efficient way," he said.
Participating in Convergencia MX, held in Mexico City, he assured that the company has had great acceptance in regional markets. "In Latin America we are moving forward. We have clients in Chile, Panama, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, as well as prospects in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia. We have very good results in the last two years. We are closing 2016 well; our fourth semester will be very good."
Pérez explained the solutions provided by the company. "We offer the digital signal monitoring part: IP, OTT, Satellite, ATSC, QAM. We can monitor in RF transport-stream, like the MPEG of these signals, but we can also correlate these signals, the one that comes from the satellite, the one that by IP to the head-end and the QAM signal that goes to the last mile. We can do over-the-air signal monitoring -ATSC, ISDB-T, DVB- and we can look at these signals on the same screen, you can see what you are receiving from the suppliers, what is being processed in the head-end and what is delivered to the end customer. We offer a solution that allows you to do monitoring, engineering, resource management, all at the same time," he said.
