Colombia. The National Television Authority, ANTV, announced in the framework of the Bogotá Audiovisual Market, that to promote the creation of new content, $1,672 million will be allocated that will be delivered next year to independent audiovisual producers.
Ángela María Mora Soto, director of the entity, was in charge of making the announcement during the installation of the BAM Talks of the Day of TV, especially dedicated to Latin American audiences.
According to the director, this day was of vital importance for the Authority, as she assured that "these spaces are a window to the world of our productions, which are increasingly positioned as high quality products".
The National Television Authority, aware of the great talent that exists in the country, wanted to invite recognized international experts to share from their experiences, how to generate value to the productions that are made in the country, especially in the topics of innovation in educational television, content that can be much more interesting and competitive, of what is traditionally believed.
As part of this day was Nicolas Schonfeld of RED TAL (Network of television exchange and dissemination of audiovisual production between 20 countries of Latin America, of which Canal 13, Telepacífico, Telemedellín, Señal Colombia and the University Channel of Antioquia are part), who shared with the attendees how he has worked in the gestation, development and promotion of this network for more than ten years, proposing tal's strategies to position itself in the world and become an excellent example of professional content networks in the region.
