DBX launched seven new 500 Series references (signal processing modules), ideal for studio, direct sound and mobile recording applications, the 500 Series modules and PowerRack500 series chassis are compact, portable and highly modular. They also offer excellent features, control, sound quality and the much appreciated quality and ease of use of the analog signal process.
Among its models is the DBX 540, a pre-mic valve that only occupies one slot and delivers an impeccable audio output; It features a class A valve preamplifier, switchable phantom power and an integrated optical compressor.
There's also the DBX 565, which features a dual-channel multi-frequency band compressor, a fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley crossover slope (24db/octave), master's volume display with vometer, gain reduction LED, independent compression, attack and release controls, and a switch to bridge the circuit.
Finally, the new DBX 555 5-band parametric equalizer, the 570 high impedance input module and the 590 phase manipulator have also joined the 500 series offering a full range of process tools for both direct and studio sound.
