Chile. Within the framework of the Tecné fair, one of the most relevant meetings of the audiovisual industry in Chile, which was held from May 23 to 25 at the Mapocho Station Cultural Center, Canon unveiled its portfolio of video products.
Canon participated in the fair under the slogan "Tell us your story", unveiling its portfolio of DSLR cameras and professional optics, highlighting the launch of the new EOS 80D along with the Cinema line, which will be launched in Chile in the coming months.
New releases
Aimed at young filmmakers, independents or small productions, the arrival of the latest in the EOS line was one of Canon's most anticipated news. Cameras such as the EOS 7D MK II and EOS 5D MK II deliver state-of-the-art features and exceptional image quality, features that allow you to deliver advanced performance. However, the great novelty of this fair was the launch of the new EOS 80D camera.
It is a robust fully equipped DSLR camera, which combines innovative and advanced technologies, such as the new 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and a DIGIC 6 processor, as well as a new 45-point AF system, all cross-type, and burst shooting at a speed of up to 7 fps. A versatile camera, which shoots very quickly and easily, and which can be customized.
On the other hand, with the latest in image quality and with a range of compact HD camcorders, canon's Professional Video line was also present at Tecné, highlighting the launch of the XA-30/35 models, ideal for recording accurately and with a high quality for corporate videos, and XF 200/205, special for the creation of HD content for any type of user, for its compact and lightweight design.
In addition, Canon presented the only solution of 4K and photographs of this line: the XC 10 camera, which captures video in 4K / Full HD 4: 2: 2 of unparalleled quality, captures photographs of 12 MP, contemplates a 10x zoom lens, optical image stabilizer and remote control via Wi-Fi.
Coming soon to Chile: New EOS Cinema line
Unparalleled creative options are what Canon's new line of Cinema EOS cameras offers and will be on sale in our country later this year. They have different supports that allow them to be compatible with as many lenses as possible and large Super 35 mm CMOS sensors, a system specially designed for cinematographic realizations and where Canon is a leader.
Among the cameras, the EOS Cinema C100 MK II stands out, ideal for single-person video production, and the EOS Cinema C300 MK II, which allows internal recording of 4K/Full HD video with a wide dynamic range, in addition to incorporating external RAW output and Canon Log2.
