Latin America. Advances in research and engineering enabled the new generation of LED Fresnels developed by Fluotec, which are brighter and more efficient than their previous models.
This development is important for cinematographers, producers, photographers and executives of film and television studios, as until now the use of inefficient tungsten lighting has been the norm in lighting for production in studios, locations, stages and theaters. Fresnels are the workhorses of stage lighting and the most common luminaire used in television and film.
These new Fluotec Fresnels will save producers and studios thousands of dollars in electric bills while providing the pure white light needed for professional applications.
Nebula, diffusion technology for the camera, mixes and homogenizes the light, which allows to emit a pure white light, specially designed for Broadcast & Motion Picture applications.
The 5" Auralux manual zoom and the 7" Vegalux motorized zoom are part of Fluotec's campaign to replace the inefficient tungsten Fresneles by being more powerful, efficient and accurate.
Fluotec's LED technology is digital and has DMX control over the brightness, and in the case of the Vegalux, the beam angle. They are extremely quiet and have a passive and active cooling system, optimized with very quiet fans for studios or locations.
Fluotec fresnels are available in warm color temperatures of tungsten 3200K or 5600K cold white light.
