Latin America. Since 2012 the company Riedel came to Latin America to offer its solutions in the region and achieving so far very good results in the countries where it has a presence. Today he wants to reach new markets.
TVyVideo+Radio spoke with Fabiano Botoni, Riedel's general director for South America, who explained that the eyes are now on the markets of Peru, Colombia and Bolivia, all led from the office in Brazil.
"We have had sustained growth. We have important projects such as the viña del Mar festivals in Chile, Rock in Rio in Brazil, and with the help of clients such as Globosat, Globo, as well as broadcasters and theaters in the region," said Fabiano Botoni.
He explained that the company's structure in Latin America is divided into two. The first serves Mexico and Central America, with an office that reports directly to the United States, while the southern part of the continent is served from the Brazil office that Fabiano is in charge of.
Today the company has its eyes on several markets. In Bolivia they recognize that there is a need for technology and development plans for 2016. For their part, in Colombia they are currently looking for a partner that will be responsible for distributing Riedel's solutions and allow them to know the market.
Its solutions are focused on mission-critical communications in real time, in which you can not fail, that do not have a second chance. These include the distribution of signals in real time, routing and distribution of signals through Mediornet, a system that simplifies the operation with savings of time and money.
Finally, on the situation with the dollar that has been experienced in Latin America during 2015, he indicated that Riedel has not been so affected because its quotes are made in euros. "Although we have seen that in special cases such as Brazil, where the Olympics will be held in 2016, we see that there are needs but not climate to invest," he concluded.
