Latin America. Lamac announced the appointment of Lynette Pinto as its new Vice President of Business Development. She is a recognized professional in the industry who has 33 years of experience in marketing, advertising and business development.
Over the course of her professional career, Lynette has worked for such well-known companies as Publicidad Siboney, Kraft General Foods, AT&T, Telemundo Group and NBC Universal TV Networks Distribution. In the latter he served as Vice-President of Marketing.
Gary McBride, President & CEO of Lamac stated that, "Lynette's involvement with Lamac represents a significant advance in the organization's business development strategy. Lynette has a deep understanding of how the advertising business works. His experience working at Siboney, Kraft, Telemundo and NBC Universal has given him a broad knowledge of the different angles of media planning and buying, a fact that Lamac understands as his greatest potential to strengthen the Pay-TV business in the region."
For her part, Lynette comments that her link to Lamac "is due to a desire to add the years of professional experience and put them at the service of an industry that is going through a very interesting time. Pay-TV in Latam still has a lot of room to grow. My commitment to Lamac will be to take the business on the path where advertisers in the region achieve a better understanding of how to use this medium and make the most of it in order to generate the greatest return on their advertising investment in Pay TV."
This is the second appointment of the entity in the last month, since in May Mimi Lopez was promoted to the position of Executive Director of the organization in Colombia.
