Chile. The National Television Council will have a new complaints system through the current SIAC portal (Integral System of Information and Citizen Attention). Now citizens can centrally perform:
- Citizen complaints to television program broadcasts
- OIRS requests (queries, suggestions, congratulations and complaints)
- Requests for information under Law No. 20,285.
The new system will allow to know the status of progress of the complaints, with their respective answers and attached files, as well as files can be attached to the complaints at the time of their entry from the same portal.
The citizen can register with his RUT or passport depending on his nationality.
And you can opt for two forms of registration to make your citizen complaints:
1.- Registered User with RUT: The citizen can register through his RUT and password to have access to the portal, which will have the advantage of not reiterating his data every time he makes a complaint and will allow him to manage the history of his complaints at the time of entering the portal as a registered user.
2.- Registered User with Passport: This profile is designed for the foreign citizen who can register through his passport number and password to have access to the portal with which he will have the advantage of not reiterating his data every time he makes a citizen complaint and will allow him to manage the history of his complaints at the time of entering the portal as a registered user.
Additionally, the new tool presents improvements in its functionality presented in a simpler way at the time of being able to make a complaint, as well as security aspects for key validation control that for the citizen are transparent.
