Argentina. Within the framework of innovation and technological complementation agreements, the firm Media 5 will present the novelties in its broadcast products and the new solutions that the company has developed to meet the requirements of its customers throughout the region will be shown.
During the next version of Caper, in Argentina, it will exhibit the solutions and integrations developed for other factories in the market, such as Matrox, NewTek and ENPS of the Associated Press and the new features and functions of the different lines.
With regard to its line of video servers (video 5 MF and VIDEO 5 Net IP), one of the most important changes that will be presented refers to the possibility of being able to install user terminals on Windows, MAC OSX or Android platforms, that is, from now on it will be possible to control the system from any platform natively and optimizing the available equipment on the network.
An integration agreement for ENPS (news management system) was signed with the Associated Press. This new development can control all the equipment that our company manufactures, Character Generators, Video Servers and Recording equipment in a fully automatic way and by MOS protocol.
The compatibility of the equipment with the MOS protocol allows the user to integrate them into any broadcast workflow.
On the integration of the products with NewTek, the company developed a new line of products that connect by networks with TriCaster equipment, thus achieving more economical solutions. In the new version, the equipment has a second output allowing to broadcast the same content to two TriCaster equipment, in cases where you want to have redundancy.
The line of recording equipment now has a new image, adapted specifically to live work, with the possibility of using more shortcuts for the different commands and with more intuitive screens. It also offers the possibility of exporting files directly to the video server, facilitating the work of any channel or producer. The new version has Network Time Shifting functions and allows real-time playback on the VIDEO 5® video server, of what is being recorded.
