Chile. The 2014 version of Chile Media Show Summit will be special, as the fair celebrates its 10th anniversary amid significant changes in operators, technology providers and industry players. Since its inception in 1948, cable television (CATV) has developed by intersecting three scenarios: technological, economic and social. Today, convergence has brought new challenges to operators and programmers, where Digital TV, technology, multiplatform interactivity, new screens and on-demand content has created infinite scenarios for companies that provide and dedicate information technology (ICT) can find an important business niche and facilitate the deployment of products and services that can give to users a more global access to that digital world.

In addition, the annual meeting of the Chamber of Independent Cable Operators of Chile will be held.
