Chile. After a successful first version in 2013, Expofoto Chile returns this year with a greater display of attractions. It will have the most complete sample of products for photography, cameras and accessories of prestigious brands recognized worldwide and photographic studios. There will be talks, workshops and photographic shootings for both professionals and amateurs, taught by art experts and prestigious photographers. This year the audiovisual world will also be included in all activities.
More than 50 brands will be present to show the latest products that will be launched on the market such as Sony, Go pro, Canon, Samsung, HP, Kingston, in addition to the company Shape, through its distributor in Chile David and Joseph Comunicaciones, among others.
In addition, more than eight photographic exhibitions will be presented, including "Motorhead Roadkill" by Pep Bonet who shows the 2008, 2009 and 2010 tours of the legendary British rock band. "Fukushima" by Tomás Munita, a prominent Chilean photographer who reveals the shocking images of the evacuation zone decreed by the nuclear power plant after the 2011 earthquake in Japan. "World Cup Brazil 2014" exhibition of the 100 best photos of the World Cup selected by renowned photographers and world media.
Enfoca Photo Contest 2014
Photography lovers will be able to participate in the "Enfoca 2014" photo contest. The contest is open to the public and important prizes will be awarded for the first 3 places in each category. The categories are: Macro, Outdoor and Portraits. Each participant can compete with a maximum of three photographs.
