At the Crystal Vision booth , all eyes will be on safire HD, the first budget HD chroma keyer that works with all available hd formats as well as SDI, and is ideal for use in studios, sporting events and all other live chroma keying applications.
Safire HD offers both additive and multiplicative keying and can be used with transparent and reflective objects. It offers numerous fine adjustments for edge optimization and sophisticated shadow processing, as well as Key Shrink, capable of moving the edges of a key signal by a fraction of a pixel, in order to eliminate any dark bands around foreground objects.
The additional features of the Safire HD make it the ideal chroma keyer for inserting graphics on surfaces during sporting events. The commercial launch for the first time at IBC and the demonstrations of the Safire HD as well as the presentation of all the products released by Crystal Vision of all eras, will be available on the "green screen" of the reception area.
Crystal Vision will launch two more modules, ideal for a virtual HD studio. ViViD HD is a high-definition video retarder that provides up to 593 ms of delay. It works with the most common formats of HD and SDI, and is ideal for compensating for the delays generated by the graphics of virtual studios, as well as for synchronizing MPEG encoders and decoders. LKEY HD is a high-definition linear keyer for adding captions, graphics and logos to HD sources. Features offered by this modular keyer include mask generation, internal sweeping, black mixing and fading , by virtue of additive and multiplicative keying and the ability to work both HD and SD.
