Colombia. A total of 1,497 young people from 10 departments registered in "La Colombia que soñamos", a call from the Ministry of ICT that will deliver more than $2,625 million Colombian pesos for the purchase of the emission rights of 750 audiovisual pieces that will be selected by a qualifying jury.

"The Colombia we dream of" is led by the Ministry of ICT, Canal Trece and Canal Zoom. Now the evaluation process begins in which artistic, technical and conceptual criteria will be taken into account, as well as the viability and relevance of each proposal. The winners will be announced on September 18.

"Young people between 18 and 28 years old from Meta, Risaralda, Boyacá, Huila, La Guajira, Atlántico, Antioquía, San José del Guaviare and Valle del Cauca proposed their vision of a better Colombia through audiovisual language, which shows that ideas and art are the best way to raise their voices and transform the country," celebrated the Deputy Minister of Connectivity of the Ministry of ICT, Walid David.

The official explained that the selected projects will be broadcast on the digital screens of public TV. "In the digital age, the audience becomes a producer of information and thus new models of expression and ways of interpreting the world from audiovisual narratives emerge. From the Ministry of ICT we open a space for young people to express themselves and their ideas reach all corners of the country through our public TV," he said.
