Argentina. The Argentine government announced a package of measures whose main objective is to promote, strengthen and reactivate, through work and production, the culture sector.
These measures, which will be implemented throughout the second semester, have an investment of more than $5.3 billion Argentine pesos and are aimed at a variety of cultural sectors such as festivals, handicrafts, cultural workers, publishing industry, performing arts, audiovisual industry, heritage, cultural spaces and organizations, community culture, music, among others.
President Alberto Fernandez said: "Today is an important day because everything we are doing means that we are coming out of this difficult time where culture suffered a lot. Art is not a banal thing, it is something central in the life of the human being; it is all artistic expressions that make peoples unique, and art is needed because it nourishes the soul of peoples."

Solidarity Culture
Expansion of the extraordinary support that has already reached more than 50,000 cultural workers and that will now have a fourth installment of $ 15 thousand with a total investment of $ 750,000,000
Audiovisual Rebirth
This policy is presented for the first time, carried out jointly with the Secretary of Media and Public Content, aimed at the reactivation of the audiovisual industry with an investment of $ 2500,000,000 and the generation of 5000 jobs directly or indirectly. It includes more than eighty audiovisual productions (animation, fiction and documentary content) and more than seventy audiovisual development projects within the framework of MICA.
