Latin America. Next Tuesday, April 27, the company Avid will present its new Edit On Demand system, which allows you to edit from anywhere with fast and secure cloud editing.
It is a solution that allows real-time video editing in the cloud. It provides a scalable and secure remote editing environment using Media Composer as the editor and Avid NEXIS as shared cloud storage. This full virtual edition suite can be installed in as few hours, not days, allowing team members to work quickly from anywhere, at any time.
In the presentation, attendees will be able to discover how:
- Accelerate new projects quickly in a scalable and secure remote editing environment
- Collaborate in the cloud with Media Composer and Avid NEXIS as easily as if you were physically on-premises
- Get everything you need in a single subscription, saving time, production costs and stress
In charge of this presentation will be Imanol Zubizarreta, producer, editor and professor with more than 30 years of experience in the production and broadcast industry. One of the pioneers of non-linear publishing, Imanol is one of the first publishers to use Media Composer in Latin America.
In 1994 he established CAT (Center for Art & Technology) in Mexico, the first authorized Avid training center in Latin America. Since then Imanol has certified more than 500 editors in Avid post-production systems. Imanol has also worked on multiple television stations throughout Latin America including TV Globo, Televisa, TV Azteca and Caracol among many others.
