Latin America. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary in business throughout 2021, the company extends the industry to "Finding Your Next Innovation" during the one-year celebration. To better serve their customers and potential customers, they have updated the website, FOR-A.com, to make navigation easier.
Featured on its revamped website is the new blog series, "FOR-A Forum." The "Forum" is part of our overall mission to keep the lines of communication open and accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
"At its core, FOR-A is an engineering innovator. Our first product, the VTG-32, was the world's first production timer. In 1981, we introduced the FA-410P, widely regarded as the best time-based corrector on the market at the time. Eight years ago, we introduced the world's first high-speed 4K camera. Then, three years ago, we introduced the world's first single-link 12G-SDI production switch: the HVS-6000. FOR-A was the first to create a production switch with enough bandwidth to carry 4K signals to the end using a single axial cable," said Katsuaki Kiyohara, President of For-A.
Today, FOR-A is associated with 12 group companies in Japan, as well as six overseas subsidiaries worldwide, including FOR-A Corporation of America, which was launched in California in 1974. The current lineup includes products that support 4K and 8K workflows, 12G-SDI and video over IP, as well as HD and SD solutions. It also offers a wide range of solutions from its partner companies, including Brainstorm, ClassX, Fujitsu and Variant Systems Group.
