Latin America. Gestmusic, producer behind programs such as Operación Triunfo, Tu cara me suena or ¡Mira quién baila! and Webedia España, a leading group in the entertainment sector, have renewed their collaboration with VSN for the uninterrupted broadcast of their latest and pioneering bet, Top Gamers Academy, through their official YouTube and Twitch channels.
The VSNOne TV system has been in charge of automating the continuity of the signal recorded in the studios and broadcasting it 24 hours a day on this channel, which is also broadcast on the Atresmedia Neox channel. Since its premiere on October 4, the program has already accumulated 17 million live views on the live streaming platform Twitch.
VSNOne TV allows Gestmusic and Webedia to broadcast uninterruptedly through YouTube all the content recorded in the facilities of the program in Sant Just Desvern, thanks to the generation of an IP streaming signal. To do this, the system has allowed to manage two playlists separately with the aim of taking the realization of the 24-hour channel a step further and adding greater complexity.
Likewise, Gestmusic and Webedia have opted for a more powerful graphics generation to connect with the younger audiences targeted by the program, thanks to the system's graphics engine that allows it to have up to eight layers of graphics per list. The solution has also allowed the production company to have other advanced functionalities, such as the possibility of automating auxiliary events or performing timeshifts (live pause).
Top Gamers Academy: a pioneering program
The YouTube channel of the world's first gaming reality-talent currently has about 150,000 subscribers and in just over a month has already generated more than 800 videos of content, figures to which can be added the more than 320,000 followers they have on Twitch.
Undoubtedly, one of the great attractions of the format is the presence of recognized content creators for the teams of players, which in this first edition includes Rubius, who with 39 million subscribers is still the most popular Spanish-speaking youtuber worldwide; Willyrex (16 million subscribers) and Grefg (15 million subscribers). In addition, the program is presented by Jordi Cruz, who after several years as a radio announcer returns to the medium where the most veteran audiences will recognize him for his participation in programs such as Art Attack or El club Megatrix.
