Latin America. Datavideo introduced the new PTC-140 NDI, the first NDI product in the brand's product family. It has NDI | HX and simultaneously emit NDI, 3G-SDI and HDMI signals up to 1080p60.
NDI technology allows the PTC-140 NDI to automatically detect and communicate with other NDI video equipment over an IP network. The PTC-140 NDI is the first of many cameras soon to come from Datavideo with NDI support.
The PTC-140 NDI has a 20x optical zoom and supports PoE, 3G-SDI video, control and tally via a single Ethernet cable. PTC-140 NDI can be selected as a video source using streaming applications such as Wirecast, OBS and video production software such as VMix and NewTek's Tricaster series. Camera control is done through NDI IP applications and software, plus a dedicated hardware driver, which will soon be called the Datavideo RMC-300A.
The REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES of the RMC-300A camera for the PTC-140 NDI include swivel, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, camera presets, and advanced camera settings.
"We are delighted to launch our first NDI product. It is important for our customers to have a video camera that is easy to use and install while emitting a high-quality video signal. Our best-selling PTC-140 camera, combined with NDI technology, is an excellent solution for customers who want an IP workflow for live event production, broadcasting, places of worship and classrooms," said Craig Moffat, Managing Director of Datavideo US.
