Ricardo Santos, Regional Sales Manager Latin America of Datavideo, explained to TVyVideo+Radio that the new product is a multi-camera transmission switch that has the ability to transmit vertical video and accepts a single 4K camera and allows you to select 4 regions of interest in the 4K scene and switch between the 4 1080p scenes and transmit the PGM output to your social media platform or CDN.
The KMU-200 system can also be configured to operate in the traditional 16:9 or 9:16 portrait mode to stream to Facebook or Instagram. This product will be available for the second quarter of 2020.
Other new products include the CAP-1 and CAP-2 capture boxes. CAP-1 is an SDI capture box for USB 3.0. CAP-2 is an HDMI capture box for USB 3.0. They will also have an NDI version of the PTC-140 PTZ camera.
