Colombia. The Minister of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), Sylvia Constaín, announced that the deadline was extended until November 22 for the submission of proposals for the process of awarding community broadcasters throughout the country.
"This is a process in which there has been a lot of interest, in which for the first time in 10 years we will award community stations. I want to call on the mayors, the population, to participate in the call. They have asked us for an extension and it will be open until November 22," said the head of the ICT portfolio.
Organized communities interested in applying for the call must send the required documentation physically, either personally or by registered mail, to the facilities of minTIC (Murillo Toro Building - Cra. 8 between streets 12a and 12b, floor 1) in Bogotá. For more information click here.
