Uruguay. Montecable, the leading cable operator in Uruguay, has implemented Conax GO Live's cloud-based solution, Nagra's turnkey OTT solution, to enable new functionalities in its pay-TV service, including support for Android TV and Video-On-Demand (VOD).
The implementation was carried out with the collaboration of BOLD MSS, a regional leader in the supply of advanced solutions for content distribution based in Uruguay and Nagra's sales channel partner in Latin America.
The announcement marks the first cloud deployment of the Conax GO Live solution with VOD functionality in the Americas.
