Colombia. Hand in hand with Congo Films, during the month of August will be the International Colorist Academy in Colombia, who are considered the Olympus of the color classes of the world.
In total, six courses will be taught, four for colorists and two of them for anyone in the industry, engineers, DP, DIT. One of them will be about color science, but the most innovative will be HDR, which will be in charge of instructor Kevin Shawn, Dolby Vision technology consultant and ACES member.
"I feel that this really is a unique opportunity to have this knowledge in Colombia and in South America. We will have attendees from Peru, the Dominican Republic and Mexico," Diego Yhama, one of those in charge of bringing the International Colorist Academy to Bogotá, told TVyVideo+Radio.
Among the courses will be:
- Davinci Resolv for beginners
- Davinci Resolve advanced level
- Looks & Matching masterclass
- Davinci Resolve Color Matrix
- Color Science Calibration
- HDR masterclass
Diego Yhama added that International Colorist Academy has been in 45 countries around the world, but, for the first time, they will come to South America.
