Argentina. The National Communications Agency, Enacom, approved a new rule that benefits the country's Amateur Radio community, which as of March 1, any processing related to this service will be exempt from the payment of fees.
This decision responds to Enacom's interest in promoting and supporting this activity, especially since it is carried out on a non-profit basis and is very important in humanitarian, social and community participation in emergency and/or disaster situations.
The Entity thus values the support that Radio Amateurs provide to the community and to the state organizations that intervene in these circumstances, when the other means of communication fail or are interrupted.
