International. Eddy Vanderkerken is now part of AudioVideo BrandBuilder Corporation, AVBB, as its new Sales Director for the West Coast of the United States and Canada. With his extensive experience and expertise in the broadcast industry, Eddy will be responsible for managing and developing the Western region of the United States, including Hawaii, and Canada.
Eddy Vanderkerken has more than 30 years of experience in video test and measurement products and Broadcast products, as well as managing and leading Sales teams. Born in Belgium, Eddy holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Erasmus University in Belgium, and is fluent in five languages.
Eddy was responsible for sales of Rohde & Schwarz test and measurement instruments in Belgium for 15 years, focusing primarily on video and television applications. In 2001, Eddy moved to the U.S. with his family to help expand sales in that country for Rohde & Schwarz, where he was promoted to Sales Director for Test and Measurement Instruments in Broadcast and for broadcast products for 10 years.
In 2014, Eddy established his own company – Sourcerer LLC – for the sale of television and video measurement equipment in the US, based in the Dallas-Forth Worth area of Texas, and has now decided to be part of AVBB. "I am very happy and motivated to be part of AudioVideo BrandBuilder Corporation," says Eddy Vanderkerken. "The fact that AVBB represents, exclusively for the Americas, recognized global brands, such as PHABRIX and CINEDECK, opens a great window of sales opportunities for television stations, production houses, film studios, and other companies on the West Coast."
