Colombia. On August 8 and 9, 2016, the 14th Edition of the TVMORFOSIS International Television Forum will arrive in Barranquilla, organized by the ZOOM Channel, the Universidad del Norte, its Social Communication Program and the University of Guadalajara, under the theme "Technologies and Audiovisual Narratives for Current Social Realities".
During these two days more than 30 guests from the Ibero-American territory, including important experts, researchers, producers, filmmakers, journalists and representatives of civil society will share their opinions, reflections, projects and contributions on the role of the audiovisual field and the technological advances that accompany it in the construction of a coherent and necessary social fabric for the Colombian reality.
In this framework, topics such as audiovisual narratives in conflict scenarios, the offer of content on the subject on OTT platforms, informative stories, citizen participation through social networks and television interactivity, the contribution of public television and university television, media and inclusion policies will be addressed; among others.
The successful television format of TVMorfosis will be broadcast via streaming and live on the National University Channel ZOOM, with the technical production of the Audiovisual Production Center of the Universidad del Norte. Likewise, the content can be viewed later on the official website of the event.
Due to the particular accent of the subject, TVMorfosis is open to all types of public, especially students of humanities, communication, audiovisual and related media; as well as professionals in the field, academics and researchers in social issues.
