Latin America. Slingbox is a solution that allows any user of subscription TV services, whether paid or satellite, to access channels from anywhere in the world and through any mobile device or pc, not only when you are in front of the TV at home.
How does it work? A console is connected to the signal of pay TV and internet, which achieves access from anywhere through a pc. For mobile devices you must download an application called SlingPlayer, which allows you to take the signal just by having access to an internet connection.
Its creators emphasize that the connection to practically any audio-video source (A / V) is very easy. A Slingbox can be connected to thousands of compatible standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) video sources, including digital video recorders (DVRs) and cable, satellite or terrestrial television set-top boxes.
The on-screen remote control and program guide allow you to switch channels, schedule recordings on your DVR, fast forward, rewind, pause, and play.
This equipment, which currently has a presence in 29 countries, is distributed for Latin America by the company AVTech Ltda.
