Historically, Mexico has stood out in the regional broadcast industry for being at the forefront of technology and audiovisual production, both in television and film.
A clear example is the Category for Best Director of the Oscars, which of the last six years, five have been for Mexican directors, in addition to Mexican talents from the technical, creative and acting that are widely known.
In this moment of transition that the broadcast industry is experiencing, Mexican companies in the sector continue to stand out. While in the rest of the region most channels are considering or starting with the implementation of 4K and IP is a medium-term project, for the main channels in Mexico 4K is a widely developed issue and today they are making significant progress with the implementation of IP and HDR.
That is why TVyVideo+Radio took on the task of talking with some of the main players in the Mexican broadcast industry, both public and private channels and technology integrators, which allow us to present a panorama of where the Mexican industry and experience is going.
This is the preamble to the arrival of the TecnoTelevisión Congress in Mexico City next August, within the framework of the InfoComm Mexico fair. TvYVideo+Radio, organizer of the Congress, will present a two-day academic program that allows us to reach definitions in this conjunctural moment that the industry is experiencing, replicating the successful experience of Colombia during the last 11 years.
