Audinate released the Dante firmware v4.0 for the Brooklyn II audio network module. The new version offers support for Dante Domain Manager (DDM) along with improved performance and solutions to known issues.

Dante Domain Manager is Audinate's new product that brings new features to Dante networks including user authentication, role-based security, and auditability while enabling near-limitless expansion and organization of Dante systems over any network topology.

DDM is a virtual application that runs under Windows, Linux and server platforms. The release allows manufacturers to update released products to make them DDM-compatible.
