Colombia. The eighth edition of the Bogotá Audiviosual Market, BAM, which takes place from July 10 to 14, 2017, will feature France as a guest country, taking advantage of the fact that 2017 has been declared the Colombia-France year by the governments of both countries.
According to the organizers of the BAM, France is a great guest for this edition after so many years of working in partnership with the French Embassy and having had in our market guests such as Charles Tesson, director of the Critics' Week, parallel section of the Cannes Festival who has come twice and this year confirms again his visit to discover first or second works by Colombian filmmakers, among many other guests.
The event, which is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and Proimágenes Colombia with the support of the Fund for Cinematographic Development (FDC), has become a must for the country's audiovisual industry, which aims to disseminate the national offer of projects in development, titles in post-production and finished and services related to audiovisual production.
This year the BAM Talks, the conference program of the event, has been called Distribution and audiovisual marketing in 200 tips. For these presentations will be high-level international experts in the areas of project presentation, international sales and distribution, television, documentaries, cross-media, new windows and distribution models.
In addition, the event will have spaces dedicated to nerworking, with the BAM Brunch, the BIG TOP and the Happy Hours and Parties.
