Mexico. Nagra will be present at the next session of NextTV Series in Mexico City an academic day entitled "What will happen to OTT services in Latin America", on Tuesday, October 4 at 10:30 am.
The presentation will review business, technology and operations priorities, as well as lessons learned to shape the future of OTT services in the region. Also in the spotlight of the discussions will be the prospects for innovation in the region and how the video ecosystem (content owners and aggregators, broadcasters, cable TV/DTH/wireless operators) can work together to ensure its success.
"Latin America is one of the most interesting emerging markets for video services, including broadcasting and streaming," said Edgar Moyano, Director of Business Development at Nagra.
He added, "Consumers are eager for new and different ways to consume content, especially in entertainment and sports. The Rio Olympics are a great example of this. The OTT service is making its mark in the region and we want to share new knowledge about the future of these services."
