Latin America. Eduardo Villanueva, head of sales for Latin America WorldCast Systems, has described the last year for the company as historical, due to global sales and the positioning of its transmitters and measuring equipment in different markets.
"We are in a historic moment of global sales, we are leaders in the sale of transmitters in Europe with 100% of the market for top quality transmitters in Germany, and an important development in the markets of central east and Africa," he said.
In the specific case of Latin America, the company has strengthened the commercial network, designing specific strategies for each country, each market, and the result has been good. In Colombia they have installed technology for the stations of the Armed Forces, in Peru equipment for the Minute of God, and so other cases in Ecuador and Uruguay, in addition to measuring equipment for regulatory bodies.
"Currently, the economic and political situation of the different countries of the region is not the best. Despite that we have done quite well, we have had a significant growth in sales thanks to the new products, the IP cocdecs and the control and telemetry part. In addition, we have expanded our presence with a better commercial network. With work, method, prices and good product, the results are given," he added.
During the last version of NAB Show, the company presented its highest efficiency 10 kw Ecreso transmitter currently in all its elements. It also launched the WorldCast Manager control software, with which the control and management of the different transmitting plants can be integrated, as well as telemetry and measurement equipment and control. It is currently in no-cost trial options for customers who wish to try it out.
