Latin America. During the Broadcast Depot Workshop, Aja was presenting her Cion camera and network cable-based video solutions. Many Rosado, Aja's sales engineer for Latin America, explained to TVyVideo some details of the new market they want to serve.
He commented that "we are looking at different markets to bring them different products. We are making solutions that are more dedicated to the consumer. The consumer world has always been concerned with low-cost products, but with the advancement of technology prices have come down and what is done is to bring consumers professional technology at a much lower cost."
Many Rosado explained that this new market generates as a result productions with much higher quality, only because of the new possibilities of cameras, components and switchers. And he gave as an example the switchers, which while before they could cost up to US $ 250,000, there is already one on the market of US $ 2,000 and that today can be made a complete production in less than US $ 20,000.
He concluded that "in Latin America the representatives of Aja have all the details of the new and are making presentations to support the company in its launches. At the end of the day what we are looking for is to deliver a reliable product, with a good guarantee and a price that is compatible with everything."
