Bolivia. Television station Bolivia TV has acquired a variety of video production equipment from the company For A as part of the station's transition to high definition. The La Paz-based station offers public broadcasting content and serves a wider audience, including newscasts, public affairs programs and cultural performances.
Included equipment includes video mixers, character generators, signal processors, and routing switches. There were 10 portable video mixers of reference HVS-110 acquired by Bolivia TV. These units offer mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronization, resizing motor, DVE, insertion manipulator and DSK.
Bolivia TV has also selected 10 MFR-3232 routing switches, a 32-input, 32-output unit that includes an interface function for synchronous operation by linking multiple cases, counting, and automatic code tracking connections with peripheral devices.
The chain has also purchased 10 VTW-350HS HD/SD character generators. Compact in design, lightweight and with a rich set of tools, it makes it an ideal complement to Bolivia TV live applications. The unit employs an intuitive user interface, and its software offers a wide range of text and graphics functions, more than 260 transitions, template control, and general-purpose file interface. Bolivia TV has also purchased 10 FA-9520 signal processors.
"For-A has worked with Bolivia TV in the past, and I think they have come to trust our products and their reliability. I am confident that our team will help Bolivia TV in the smooth transition to HD production," said Mario Rodriguez, For-A Latin America Sales Manager.
