Colombia. RTI and Imagina US announced the signing of a Co-Development and Co-Production agreement for fiction formats for OTT and Cable platform clients in the United States and Latin America and for all platforms in Europe including Open Television.
Under the parameters of the agreement, the two companies will develop high-quality fiction products with the aim of opening space to new customers. In turn, the agreement seeks to take advantage of the extensive production infrastructure that the two companies have in Colombia and the United States respectively.
"This new agreement is key in our strategy of offering the 'Premium' content demanded by the Latino market," says Ana Bond, VP of Business Development and Legal Affairs from the offices of RTI Miami.
"This alliance is a natural step with which Imagina US seeks to consolidate itself as a leading content company, especially in fiction and what better than with RTI with which we have a lot of synergy," said Juan Pablo Santos, SVP of Content and New Business of Imagina US.
To maximize the success of the alliance, the two companies have made an agreement with Pomodoro Stories led by Brendan Fitzgerald, who will be in charge of securing clients, structuring co-production businesses and seeking financing.
Patricio Wills highlighted: "This agreement is an ideal complement to our portfolio of productions that today we carry out primarily for Televisa".
