Colombia. With three references that stand out for the best image quality, a thinner, lighter, resistant screen material and new entertainment options on its Internet TV, Sony presented in Colombia its new range of televisions for homes.
The new televisions, series the basic BX series, the advanced EX and the most outstanding HX, incorporate the entire line of DVB-T2, a European digital television model chosen by Colombia, providing all the benefits it offers, such as better video and sound quality, interactive services, integration capacity with other telecommunications services, and also the possibility of more channels (multi-programs).
Certain models incorporate Dynamic Edge LED technology with Local Dimming and offer a bright Full HD (1080p) image with higher brightness and outstanding contrast, particularly in the deep black color.
Sony's HX857 and HX757 models debut in the first quarter of 2012 and the HX857 brings Sony's distinctive Monolithic Design and incorporates Corning's Gorilla® Glass, enabling thinner, lighter and stronger screen material.
In addition, the Sony Internet TV platform has a wide variety of content available through its partnerships with Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Crackle, among others, and through the Track ID function, which works through Gracenote and analyzes any selected song that is played on the TV, identifies it and reports the name of the performer, album and song data.
