Echolab introduced a new version of its Overture MD switcher to which 3Gbps (1080p60) format support has been added to its existing SD range, 720p, and 1080i over a single SDI or HDMI input. With internal analog-to-digital conversion and box synchronization, the Overture MD is a compact, dynamic and cost-effective production solution. The addition of 3Gbps operations means that the Overture now supports the highest broadcast quality format on the market.
Losswitchers Overture1 (1 M/E) and Overture2 (2 M/E) are multi-definition systems for producing high-quality programming with a variety of effects.
Echolab also had on display the MegaKeyMD clip player, which can serve as a device for storing animations and video clips, and can play two channels of dynamic video, both HD and SD. The two channels can be controlled for synchronized fill and key output or controlled independently.
